Graphic designer Andrio Abero lives and works in Seattle, collaborating closely with the Vera Project and exhibiting personal screen-printed works, both regionally and nationally.
Andrio started his career at Electronic Arts as a junior interface designer, immediately after graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle. Although on his way up the corporate ladder to success, he decided to leave after two years, realizing 33rpm had developed into a robust design studio. Since departing EA, 33rpm has continued to work with other video game developers, as well as Seattle’s vibrant music scene.
33rpm has received the Art Directors Club of NYC “Young Guns” award and 1st and 2nd place in the 2004 AltPick awards. Andrio has contribued to the Experience Music Project’s Northwest poster retrospective Paper Scissors ROCK, the Galleries of the Texas Tech School of Art’s Graphic Content, as well as the American Poster Institute’s Flatstock 2, 3, 5, and 7.
